I'm feeling a little homesick today...

I miss her...

and him...

and most definitely them...

Giving

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas time! I love the smells, songs, decorations, food, family, presents, but most of all I love it because of all the GIVING. My parents are the most giving and generous people I know. The feeling of giving something to someone who has very little, is the BEST feeling in the world. Every year our family gives gifts to a few families that are struggling. We all pitch in and buy them gifts, toys, clothes, blankets or whatever they need. We then deliver the gifts to their home on Christmas Eve. I love to see the little kids faces when they see all the gifts and how appreciative they are. Sometimes they even cry. My mom always slips some extra cash into the mother's hand when we leave. She never thinks anyone sees her do this, but I always do.

Another thing my family does during Christmas is we all go to the nursing home and go caroling to each room and sing songs to the little old people. We take the neices and nephews because that's who the old people want to see the most. They kiss them and hug them and sing with them. There has never been a time where we have gone and we haven't cried and felt the spirit there. A lot of the old people that we sing to never have visitors and some don't have family. I love hearing their stories. Some are very funny, and some are very sad.

One of my most favorite things we do during Christmas is my parents will go to McDonalds and order 100 cheeseburgers. We all get in the car and drive to D Street (very ghetto street in Vegas where all the bums live) and pass out cheeseburgers to the homeless. They flock to the car. They are all so nice and appreciative. They all say, "God bless you and Merry Christmas." I love knowing that we made someone's day by just giving them a cheeseburger.

This year Jon and I were discussing what each other wanted for Christmas. We honestly could not think of something that we really needed. So we decided to give the money that we would have spent on each other, to someone who actually needed it. We went to the mall and picked out a little girl and little boy off the Angel Tree. I loved shopping for them and knowing that they actually needed this stuff. I just wish I could hand it to them personally. I hope they like it and have a very Merry Christmas because they deserve it!

I hope to pass down these traditions to my own family!

Tis the season of GIVING!

He is going to kill me...

So Jon is seriously going to kill me for posting this but it's so funny that I have to. I was thinking about it today and I could not stop laughing. Hilarious.

So a couple weeks ago, Jon and I were watching YouTube videos and we came across the one where a little baby is dancing to "All The Single Ladies." It's really cute and funny...see here...

And then we came across this video and I seriously could not stop laughing. I was dying. I thought this video was ten times funnier than the baby. View here....

Sooooo later that night I get in bed and I'm reading a mag or something. Jon is in the bathroom and is taking forever to brush his teeth and whatever else he is doing in there. So I yell at him asking what he is doing and why he is taking so long to come to bed. Two seconds later he comes in with just his underwear on rolled all the way up to make it look exactly like a diaper and he comes in singing "All the Single Ladies" and does the exact same dance on our dresser!! (he even did the little kick thing with his leg and the arm thing). I don't think I have ever laughed that hard in my life!!! I'm literally LOLing right now as I type this.

This is probably something I should keep between me and my spouse, but I couldn't. Please picture Jon doing this dance for a second....Hilarious. And that is the reason why I married him.

Update

I am 20 weeks along now!! Half way there!! I can't beleive it. This little gal will be out of my womb shortly and I can't wait to squeeze her little bum off.

Jon's family came in town for Thanksgiving. We partied like it was 1999. We ate, relaxed, chatted up a storm, shopped, and loved every minute of it. Seriously I have some of the best in-laws. LOVE THEM.

Jon and his brother Ryan woke up at 3:00 in the morning to stand in line at Target. I opted to stay warm and cozy in my bed. I had little faith in these two thinking that they wouldn't come home with the TV that Jon wanted, but I was sure wrong. Their sneaky little selves raced up to the front of the line and snatched one of the last TV's that was left. Nice job boys. You made mama proud. We got a 40 inch flat screen HD tv for a whopping $300!!!

We have had sooooooo much snow its unreal. I have never seen so much in my life. It took me 20 min to get out of my neighborhood to get to work the other morning. I was driving my aunt's 4 runner and thought I had it in 4 wheel drive, but I didn't of course. I'm sure the two sweet men that helped me up the hill thought I was retarded.

I have become so much more hungry these past couple weeks and I'm afraid it's just going to get worse. I could eat the house down and my neighbors house. None of my pants fit anymore. I feel as big as an ox.

I felt my little sweetheart kick for the first time yesterday!(and I'm not talking about Jon) It is such a cool/weird feeling. It almost made me cry. So dramatic I know. I'm the type of person that would roll my eyes at girls who cry at things like that. Pregnancy does weird crap to your hormones.

Christmas break is coming soooooo soon I can hardly stand it! 2.5 more weeks until we fly to Vegas for Kenzi's wedding and spend Christmas with my family. I freakin love this time of year. It truly is the most WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!! I can't wait to watch It's A Wonderful Life and all the Hallmark Channel christmas movies and bust out my zebra snuggie and snuggle up to my bugga schmoo and eat the house down with a big glass of DC. So beyond stoked.

And last but not least, I like to give a shout out to my numba one BG Jennifer Renae Kirk Tuttle. It's her birthday today and she is turning the big 2-2!! She is seriously one of my besties and the most hilarious person on earth. I love her soooo much and can't wait to bond like no one's biz in a couple weeks. Hot tub, cinny bears, DC, port, enzo's get in my preggo belly immediately!!! You rock the mother freakin hizzzouse dizzzown gurlllll.

Oldie but a Goodie

Drum roll please.......

I am still so shocked at the news...we are having a GIRL!!! This entire time we have been dead set on it being a boy. I don't really know why, but we for sure thought it was a boy. Probably because Jon comes from a family of mostly boys. I am beyond beyond beyond thrilled to have a little girl! I can't wait to meet this/our little creation. Jon is still convinced it is a boy, even though the doctor did point out the 3 little lines which determined it was a girl. I think he is still in shock. We both are actually.

I am so excited to be a mother and meet this little gift from God. It sounds so cliche and I am sure a lot of you moms and soon-to-be mothers feel the same way, but I have always wanted to be a mom. I have never been the career woman type or ever wanted to do anything else but be a stay at home mom. Hence the reason I got pregnant so dang fast! I just couldn't wait! This has been my dream and I am so glad that it's become my reality. I cannot wait to hold this little part of me. I can't wait to be called "mom." It will be the greatest gift and blessing that I will ever receive. It truly is a miracle, and I loved watching her move all around on the ultrasound screen. I could have stayed there for hours. I already love her so so so much. I can't wait to have a little girlfriend. She is numba one BG (baby gurl).

All Hallows Eve

This year for Halloween, my cousin Shalee had a Halloween party. We went as really cool pigs. After I put my costume on, Jon goes "please don't ever get fat." I didn't know what he was talking about because I thought I looked really pretty.

Here is Jon lookin HAWT.

Carving pumpkins

I'm not sure why I'm laughing or why I'm sitting like that.

The finished product. Jon carved a pumpkin throwing up and I carved a cool A for Anderson.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Reallyyy Fun Stuff About Pregnancy

I have had serious cravings for McDonalds Sausage Biscuit. I know healthy right? I get so mad every Saturday morning if we've slept past 10:00 because I missed breakfast at McDonalds. This morning I woke up to snow, yes freaking snow and I was furious. So I decided to treat myself to a sausage biscuit and a large diet coke before work. And let me tell you, it has made my morning ten times better so far.

Also, I crave chips and salsa. I could eat them all day. We went to a mexican restaurant this weekend called the Red Iguana, and I consumed probably 3 baskets of chips and two bowls of salsa.

I don't crave anything sweet. All salty.

I want to take baths 24/7.

I only get sick at night.

I am 15 weeks along and I'm still sick at night. Its like clockwork. Every night around 8:00 I start feeling it. It needs to stop immediately.

I get extremely snappy and grumpy when I'm sick. I don't want anyone to touch me or talk to me. I always feel so bad for Jon. Bless his heart.

I have only thrown up once. It was at work, in my trash can. 5 times in a row. (i'm sure you all wanted to know that)

I think, crave, and dream about Port of Subs non stop. I don't think this is a pregnancy thing, but it has definitely gotten worse since I've been pregnant. It's a good thing they are opening up one here in Salt Lake, or someone might die (and that someone will most likely be Jon. Or he might kill me).

I get more zits. And they all love to reside on my chin. It's really cute.

I am more homesick. I crave my family and Las Vegas everyday. I have thought of every way possible on how we could move to Vegas. None of them work. And then I get more homesick and think my life is coming to an end. Talk about dramatic.

My sense of smell is ridiculous. I am a bloodhound. I can smell ev-er-y-thing. It drives Jon nuts. Morning breath makes me want to hurl (not like it didn't before, but its like someone stuck my nose in a porta potty). My prenatal vitamins make me gag and I make Jon open the bottle everytime or I will literally gag. The bathroom where I work has the worst smell. Its like a weird soapy smell and I hold my breath or breathe out of my mouth everytime I go in. I hate opening/closing the fridge.

Besides all that fun stuff, I really have not had a bad pregnancy at all, and I'm so excited to meet our little babe!

My life is gonna change real soon....

......for the better. A lot of you probably already know, but I am PREGNANT! It is still not real to me yet. I can't believe I have someone growing inside me. It truly is a miracle. And I cannot wait to meet this little person in exactly 26 weeks! He/she will arrive on April 19th. Jon and I both have feeling its a boy, but we will find out for sure next month. Can't wait! We will keep you updated!

Our little Sour Patch Kid. 9 weeks.

Kenzi's Bridal Shower

This past weekend I was in Vegas for Kenzi's bridal shower. We had it at my mom and dad's house and it was school teacher themed because Kenzi is a Kindergarten teacher. The decorations, food, games, etc were so cute. It might have been the cutest bridal shower I have ever been to. Of course, there was a song and a dance performed by the one and only me, Whitnee, JayCee, Sloan and Shea. We sang and danced to the Jackson 5 ABC's to go along with her themed party. It was absolutely hilarious. We all dressed up like different kinds of teachers. Shea was the sexy teacher, Sloan was the P.E. teacher, I was the dorky 2nd grade teacher, JayCee was an old lady teacher, and Whit was a music teacher. It was freakin funny and I think Kenzi throughly enjoyed it. Kenzi had a great turn out and it was so fun to see everyone. Here are a few pics. Enjoy yourself.

This pic tops all the other pics.

The women who made this party happen. Are they not the best looking ladies you have ever seen??

Becoming a True Ute

Sunday afternoon, Jon and I took a little drive up Cottonwood Canyon. We packed a lunch and decided it would be fun to eat in nature. How much does that not sound like me?? And it was my idea. We drove up there in the bug with the top down and let the wind blow through our hair. It was so pretty and all the leaves were changing color. I LOVE FALL! It is my 2nd favorite time of the year! The smells of pumpkin spice and holiday food make me feel so happy inside and get me so excited for the upcoming holidays! I have actually really enjoyed living in Utah and all that it has to offer. Sometimes I can actually see myself ending up here....sometimes.

Keeping our Gatorades cold by putting them in the river! Good idea Jon!

Pretty place where we decided to picnic. Good idea again Jon!

Ranger Jon

Why are we so cool?? I don't know, we just are.

Jon thought he heard a bear

Jon got a excited about the zoom button. He was so upset this pic didn't turn out because he knew it would of been a good one.

STATE FAIR

On friday night, we went to the Utah State Fair in downtown Salt Lake. Fairs are always interesting to go to and if you love people watching, this is the place. I have to say that I was not impressed with the selection of people this year. They were a little bit classier and decided to step it up a notch, but we still did see some of the most WT people on earth.

Classic car pic. On our way to eat at Famous Daves, which is where all the fat people in Utah go to eat. No one was under 300 pounds. I felt disgusted with myself after.

Jon posing with the pigs at the fair. This pig was huge! and please look at his balls.

I think his tractors sexyyyy

Who knew there would be tigers at the fair??? Classy.

Jon enjoying his delicious fried Snickers. They are realllllyyyyy healthy for you.

Drinking my $5 lemonade that was not cold. As you can tell by my annoyed smile.

SEE YA NEXT YEAR UTAH STATE FAIR!!!!

Obsessed

I have an obsession with Port of Subs more than any other place there is to eat on this planet. When I walk in there I get the greatest feeling in the entire world and I want to eat the house down. Their mayo/mustard combo is the best combo ever created, better than peanut butter/chocolate, peanut butter/jelly, ketchup/mustard, etc. I hate more than anything in the world that they don't have one here in Salt Lake. It literally infuriates my insides. I would eat there everyday if I could, and I pretty much did when I lived in Vegas. I am looking through my wallet and see that I have a free sandwich on my Port of Subs stamp card and I am looking forward to the day where I get to enjoy my delcious #13 (turkey and pastrami) with smokey cheddar cheese instead of provolone on sour dough bread with extra mayo/mustard, tomato, onion, pepperoncini's, vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano. Accompanied by jalapano chips and a large diet coke w/ lemon. Hopefully that day will come soon.....or I might blow my head off.

Vegas & California

This last week Jon and I went to Vegas and California. We both took a week off of work and it was the best thing we've ever done. We got to Vegas late friday night and early the next morning Jon left for California to see his fam and I went to lake mead with my parents and the Villamor fam. It was such a great weekend in Vegas with everyone. Monday morning I drove up with Jon's sister to California. We spent 4 days there with Jon's family. It was so fun to see them. On friday we headed back to Vegas for the weekend. This was a very much needed vacay and I hate coming back to reality schmeality.
