One Month

My little angel gurl will be one month old on Thursday! I cannot believe its already been a month...time has seriously flown. She went to her doctor's appt a couple days ago and here are her stats...

Weight: 10 lbs 5 oz (she weighed 10 lbs 7 oz at birth)...she is in the 86% for weight.
Height: 22 inches (which is the same height she was at birth as well)...she is also in the 86% for height.

-She LOVES LOVES LOVES taking baths. She could be in there all day. If she is fussy or if we about to put her down for bed, we will put her in the bath because it calms her right down.
- She loves her swing...and so do I. It's the best invention EVER. She can sleep in there for hours.
-She loves being outside and in the sun. Too bad we haven't seen the sun much lately because she loves it.
-She loves the car. I have driven down to Vegas a couple times, and every time she sleeps the entire 6 hours down there. It's a beautiful thang.
-She is a pretty good sleeper. Last night we put her down at 11:30 and she didn't wake up until 6! It was wonderful! Hopefully she keeps that up!
-I love kissing her little lips! I could squeeze and kiss her all day long. She has the cutest nose and lips in the world.
-She hates getting her diaper changed. She screams bloody murder every time.
-She drinks 4 oz of milk every 3 hours and has ever since she was born.
-She has the cutest chubby cheeks and I squeeze them on a regular basis.
-I love her little naked body.
-She puts her little fists up by her face every time she eats.
-She can hold her head up pretty well.
-She has started smiling a little bit and it is the cutest thing ever.
-She has had a few major blow outs. Jon cannot handle it. He literally gags every time he has to change a poopy diaper and puts his shirt over his nose.
-I love taking naps with her. She is so snuggly and sweet.
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE her and cannot get enough her!!!

SAHM

aka Stay At Home Mom, is THE best job in the entire world, and not to mention, THE hardest and most exhausting job I have ever experienced. But by far the most rewarding. It has been harder than any other job I have ever had. Hats off to all SAHM's. I never realized how much time and energy is put in to a little human being. I have learned so much about myself these past few weeks. She has certainly tested my patience and has changed my life entirely, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The first few days back in Salt Lake without my mom there were pretty rough. I had a few break downs and thought to myself there is no way I will be able to do this. I realized there was no turning back now and that I better buck up and start enjoying my time off with my sweet angel before I had to go back to work. Just in the past few days, I have grown to absolutely LOVE motherhood and EVERYTHING that it has to offer. Laundry constantly, dishes non stop, dirty diapers, no sleep, being peed and spit up on, sleeping baby, snuggling and giving her kisses all day, staring at her for hours, rocking her to sleep, laying her on my chest, examining her little hands and feet, dressing her up with cute clothes and bows, taking her shopping and diet coke runs, walks, her little eagle cry, her scowl, and SO MUCH MORE. I could go on and on. She is the greatest thing that has happened to Jon and I and I can't imagine my life without her. She is the most beautiful baby in the world and I recommend motherhood to everyone. It's the best thing in the world. Here are a few pictures of my angel baby...seriously though could she be any cuter???

My Baby Gurl

Filling out many papers in the hospital...

Loving my epidural right about now.

My wonderful mother dearest with me in the hospital.

Getting ready to go in for my C-section after 14 hours of labor and then finding out that she was too big and was face up and we could not do a vaginal delivery. I did not care at that point...I just wanted her outta there!!!

10 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long! Born on April 26th (the day before my b-day) at 10:08 pm.

Holding my baby gurl for the first time! Best feeling in the entire world!

She was so swollen when she came out. Look at those chubby cheeks...I could eat her!!

Going home from the hospital!!!

Her first bath!

Driving home from Vegas...she doesn't look too excited about it, I wasn't either!

Lovin my BABY GURL!!

Nursery

We had so much fun decorating Londyn's room! We decided to do the colors pink, black and white. We painted the walls light pink and striped one of the walls using black electrical tape. Here are a few pics of her room...

This is what is hanging on her door. Now I fully understand why people put "knock please" on their front door. A sleeping baby makes a very happy mommy!

This is what her room looks like walking in...

This is where I spend most of my nights. We got this rocking chair off of KSL for $20! We still need to get new cushion covers for it, but black sheets over the top of the ugly blue ones will have to do for now.

My mom bought us this cute shelf for $15 at the D.I. We painted it black and put houndstooth scrapbook paper lining the back of the shelf. Jon's mom also made us those very cute Londyn letters!

Here is her changing table/dresser. My mom found this dresser for so cheap. It was in pretty bad condition, but we knew we could fix it up cute. We painted it black and put cute pink knobs on it. I also made that lamp. I took an old lamp shade and hot glued a boa around it. I thought it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.

My blessing dress that Londyn will wear on her blessing day.

Here is her crib. My sister in law so generously gave us her crib. It was a light oak color, but we decided to paint it black so it would match everything else. We bought the picture frame from IKEA and put hounds tooth black and white paper for the background and painted a wooden "L" and put it in the frame.

And here is another angle of her room! And yes, I still need to find pillows for the day bed and hang cute pictures of Londyn above the bed.

Londyn Rebecca Anderson

Londyn Rebecca Anderson was born on April 26, 2011, weighing in at 10 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long. Yes, she is large and in charge and we absolutely love it! She is the most beautiful baby in the world and we cannot get enough of her. I still cannot believe she is mine and that I can now say I have a CHILD. It weirds me out sometimes, but it is the greatest thing on earth. We literally stare at her all day. She is the best thing that has happened to us. She is the only person I am willing to get up in the middle of the night for and not get any sleep. I love her more than words could ever express. I never knew how much you could love someone until she was born. She is a little child of God with such a clean and pure little spirit. I like to think the reason that she was a week late was because she did not want to leave her Heavenly Father and Jesus. I wish she could stay this little forever. I love smelling her skin and having her lay across my chest and take naps with me. It's amazing how something so small can bring you so much joy. Here is our precious little angel....
